TAMBA to host 14th annual Tahoe Mountain Bike Festival
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association (TAMBA), in conjunction with The Divided Sky and South Lake Brewing Company, is hosting the 14th annual Tahoe Mountain Bike Festival from Friday, June 19, to Sunday, June 21, 2026.
The weekend-long event will kick off with a festival fundraiser at Cascade Kitchens, where community members can fuel up for the big weekend ahead while giving back to Tahoe trails. From 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. that evening, Cascade Kitchens will donate a portion of food and beverage sales to TAMBA in support of the Tahoe Mountain Bike Festival.
The festivities will continue on Saturday, June 20 at the Demo & Skills Day at the Corral trail network. Registered riders will have the chance to try a range of demo bikes from participating brands and local bike shops, including Marin Bikes, Specialized, Turner Bikes, Apogee Bike Dirte.bike, Cannondale, Pivot, Santa Cruz, Canyon, Ibis, Trek, and Mondraker, and enjoy exclusive shuttles along Fountain Place Road. Dirte.bike will be launching their brand new Maxon-powered bike and offering exclusive festival discounts for attendees. The skills portion of the day will include intermediate skills clinics hosted by A Singletrack Mind, advanced skills clinics hosted by local coach Tasha Thomas, and free Trail Design 101 sessions hosted by TAMBA, new to this year’s event.
Community members are also invited to join TAMBA and South Lake Tahoe local bike brand Apogee Bikes at South Lake Brewing Company from 6 pm-8 pm, on Saturday, June 20 for a free Meet the Builders event, offering an exclusive look at the engineering behind the Apogee One bike. The event will also feature a short film debut by First Tracks Productions, followed by a Q&A with Apogee’s founders.
The final day of the festival will see the return of the signature rides on the morning of Sunday, June 21. The Tahoe Triple Crown will return as this year’s advanced ride, while intermediate riders will be able to enjoy the TAMBA Paradise Loop route. Registered riders will enjoy access to TAMBA rest stops, an exclusive t-shirt designed by RISE Designs, and a beverage and meal voucher to be redeemed at the Tahoe Trail Jam. These special rides are made possible thanks to the support of the US Forest Service and California State Parks.
The weekend will conclude with the free, family-friendly Tahoe Trail Jam at the stunning Tahoe Paradise Park on Sunday, June 21 from 12 pm- 6 pm. Local Tahoe band the Dead Winter Carpenters will headline the live music stage alongside food trucks, a beer garden, a vendor village, shenanigans competitions, a kids’ zone, and a free bike valet hosted by the Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition.
